Solar modules and PV-system components

At Manitu Solar we only use high-quality, TÜV-certified solar modules, inverters and installation structures. That is the only way to guarantee the quality standards of PV systems that will last for 20-30 years.

Every project has to be built with the right components, depending on the site's location and parameters, and one of the key issues to choose the right solar module and technology solution that fits best for the project.

We use poly- and monocrystalline modules for our projects most often, but we are familiar and in favor of thin-film technologies if that suits better for the project and to our client.

Crystalline solar modules

Well developed, mature technology of polycrystalline and monocrystalline PV is well known for higher efficiencies and therefore smaller area requirements. On today's market their price levels are much improved and supply quantities are acceptable. They are less suitable for high temperature regions and they can be very sensitive to shading.

Thin-film solar modules

Relatively newer technology, the thin-film market only started to develop in the past few years. Today's thin-film modules in mass production has still lower efficiencies than crystalline modules, however they are much less sensitive to environmental effects (ex. heat, shading, dust). Lower prices come with higher area and therefore higher installation requirements. The term 'thin-film' actually covers several technologies, we have experience with aSi, µSi, CIGS and CdTe modules.

To choose the right technology is crucial for a well working PV-system and we are here to help with that - you may find our contacts here.
